I have been involved with Adelaide Coast FM since I began a training course in 2015. I presented “Dancing in The Moonlight” between 3am-6am, every Tuesday Morning and later I began presenting the Saturday Breakfast Show, “Breakfast at Joy’s Place”, which I still present. I am a retired English/History Teacher, and I have taught in country and city High Schools.
I love a range of musical genres, such as ballads that tell a story, entertain or evoke memories from a different time in history. I enjoy upbeat pop or rock music, rare gems, forgotten favourites and even a small smattering of bubble gum. I can relate to Celtic music, folk music and popular country songs. I play some music from the 50s, with a greater range from 60s, 70s through to the 80s/90s, and sometimes beyond.
I volunteer in the Office on Thursday mornings, completing a range of duties. It is a privilege to be a member of the Adelaide Coast FM Team, and I appreciate the chance to communicate and share music with you, our listeners.
