The Rotary Club of Adelaide will be hosting a Walk for Peace-Peace in the City, a community event to be held on Friday 23rd October from 11am-3pm.
The event invites people from all backgrounds to come together in a celebration of peace, connection and inclusion. Participants can walk the full 8km route or join at any point along the way as they visit 11 Peace Poles located through the city. The walk begins at Tarntanyangga/Victoria Square and will conclude at Karrawirra, Peace Park, in North Adelaide, where a community celebration will be held from 2pm-3pm.
The walk highlights the importance of peace in our everyday lives, and encourages conversations about kindness, respect, belonging and community.
