BEAUMONT HOUSE and GARDENS

Beaumont House and Gardens, 631 Glynburn Road, Beaumont, is open to the public from 2pm-4.30pm, every first Sunday of the month, except January. For a small fee, you may enjoy a tour of this heritage listed, historic house, built in 1849, and bequeathed to the National Trust in 1970. Enjoy a stroll through part of the original, existing olive groves, marvel at the magnificent stone palms and meander around the cottage garden beds and along sweeping lawns. Enjoy Devonshire Tea on the verandah, looking out over the city and down by the gulf.
