Hi Coasters, Welcome to Good Morning Starshine, a name I selected from singer Oliver’s 1969 hit song because I thought it was catchy and a great greeting for that time on a Sunday morning!
I decided to ‘have a go’ at becoming a presenter at Coast FM last year in 2023 when I started to think about what to do in my retirement which is a few short years away. I enjoyed the course and owe many thanks to fellow Presenter and Mentor Harald Lindeman for his wealth of knowledge and his patience! I then filled in for ‘The After Party’ for a few months before securing the spot permanently.
I play hits predominantly from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s. Some of my favourites include Elvis Presley, Gary Puckett, Roy Orbison, Cliff Richard, Helen Reddy, Marcia Hines, ONJ, Dragon, The Seekers, BCR, ELO, Dolly Parton, John Denver & Johnny Cash.
