Hi, I’m John Forster , now hosting Tuesday Drive. I have been involved with community radio since the mid 1990’s, firstly with Radio Maitland (RMFM) in N.S.W. which amalgamated with Cessnock community radio to become Central Hunter Community Radio (CHRFM).
I moved to Adelaide on Christmas Day 1999, & after a few years break I joined CoastFM in 2002. After completing my training, I have hosted or co-hosted a number of programs over the years, the latest being “Time Warp” for six years until my switch to Tuesday Drive.
Each program contains a feature artist double play, a comedy or novelty song, an instrumental track & triple play from a particular year, music is mainly sourced from the 1960’s through to the 1980’s, however I can slide either side of those decades at times.
My main influences in music include The Beatles (including their solo recordings), The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, Manfred Mann, Skyhooks, Sherbet, Alice Cooper & many more.
